Sales Operations Associate

We’re seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Operations Associate (SOA) to prospect payer and provider opportunities with a focus on mutual business fit, research and consultative discussion in order to create highly relevant sales opportunities for the Sales and Business Development teams. This position reports to the Heads of Sales and Business Development.


The SOA is the backbone for our Sales and Business Development teams. You will be responsible for the entire soup-to-nuts process of sales development - researching prospects, running email campaigns, creating sales presentations and marketing collateral, and conducting screens on potential customers. You will need to be able to understand the unique business needs of senior-level leadership across a variety of business types (i.e. large and small health plans, non-profit clinics, large integrated health systems, independent physician networks, etc.). You are creative and can think through how our products can help these different entities solve their unique problems.

Your Responsibilities

As a SOA, your day will be composed of three primary activities.  First is to research, engage, and qualify clients whose needs align with the value proposition of our software solutions. Second is to execute prospecting campaigns to engage potential customers.  Third is to provide prospects with a smooth and value-added transition to our Account Executives.  

You will achieve success by discovering core value propositions for different types of payers and providers, generating high levels of new conversations, and demonstrating how they can benefit from MediQuire’s suite of solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Track record of over-achieving goals in prior positions
  • 1-2 years track record of pre-sales / sales-related prospecting, healthcare experience is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and writing skills
  • Proficiency with market automation tools, Microsoft Office Suite and CRM (e.g. Hubspot)
  • Deep understanding of outbound prospecting, including script development, target account management, email writing, and usage of social media in prospecting
  • Prior participation in a winning team environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
